Civilians Protecting Civilians - A Conversation with Peace Activists Amira Musallem and Mel Duncan

As far-right politicians Smotrich and Ben-Gvir escalate violence in the West Bank to undermine the ceasefire, our lead organizers, Mel Duncan and Amira Musallam, are on the ground laying the foundation to accomplish UCPiP’s goals: increasing the number of experienced Unarmed Civilian Protectors in Palestine and enhancing the work that is already being done there.

Join us on March 2nd for a Zoom discussion supported by @israelisforpeacenyc and NYC’s chapter of @afcfpeace. Mel and Amira will share their findings and their vision for building the infrastructure to combat ceasefire violations, settler and state violence, and the systemic oppression of occupation.
