3/19 (in person, DC) Palestine Liberation Week @ George Washington Univ. - Teach-in (2pm) Music & Resistance (6:30pm) (SJP GWU)

PALESTINE LIBERATION WEEK CONTINUES ‼️‼️(@ George Washington University)

Join us the week of March 17th for a week of political education and mobilization placing Palestine back at forefront of student consciousness.

Despite GW’s targeting of SJP events and canceling of all bookings a week prior to PLW, Palestine Liberation Week will continue as planned. Our duty to our people and to our homeland lies above all else even in the face of GWU’s blatant Zionist attacks. The Student Intifada continues until liberation and return.

MONDAY (3.17) 6:30PM | Panel: Against Defeatism - With panelists Rania Khalek and Susan Abulhawa. Join us for a critical conversation on resisting defeatism within liberation movements, examining the political conditions under which it emerges, and exploring the tactics of Zionist repression and Palestinian resistance to build collective power.

WEDNESDAY (3.19) 2:00PM | Teach-in: Popular University - Join us for a teach-in that will discuss the origins and evolution of popular education in the Palestinian struggle, from its emergence during the First Intifada to its ongoing influence on student-led movements for Palestine.

6:30PM | Music & Resistance - Learn about the history of Palestinian resistance music alongside an oud performance by Palestinian musician and vocalist Fuad Foty

THURSDAY (3.20) 6:30PM | Panel: Lessons on Repression & Counterinsurgency - Join us for a panel featuring PYM, BAP, and AAPRP that explores how colonial tactics seek to weaken and divide our communities, and how we can collectively identify and combat these efforts.
