March 13, 11:30 AM EST - Zoom

REACT Activist Writing: "Open Mic" + Story Pitches / Scène ouverte écriture militante, propositions d'articles

Sign up for our REACT open mic this Thursday to hear directly from Merab, Rosie and many other activist-creatives around the world who have recently pitched stories for the Minds of the Movement blog. Check out the speaker list below! After our planned speakers share their pitches, we will open the mic up to hear YOUR comments, reactions & story ideas to relate your activism.

Don’t want to pitch a story? Join us! This is a great opportunity to take the pulse of activism happening RIGHT NOW, worldwide. Our listeners will hear directly from our growing network of activist-creatives: their engagements and the nonviolent struggle(s) they are part of; how activism intersects with both creative and expository writing; how activists relate to writing; and the multitude of ways they use writing & creativity in their struggles for human rights, social justice and peace.
