RALLY AT BROWN: RELEASE MAHMOUD KHALIL - STUDENTS WON’T BE TARGETS — ICE OUT OF OUR COMMUNITIES, FROM CAMPUSES TO THE COUNTRY!
Former Columbia Student and green card holder Mahmoud Khalil was kidnapped by the Department of Homeland Security on Sunday and is being held as a political prisoner for his Palestine organizing. A judge issued a temporary hold on his deportation order, but Mahmoud is still being held captive.
At the same time as they deport our neighbors, the Trump administration is trying to strip away our rights to protest and live in safety, starting with international student organizers. The people won’t let them!
We call on the Rhode Island community to join students, faculty and staff at Brown University as we rally in solidarity with Mahmoud Khalil and demand Brown keep ICE off campus! ALL OUT TO BROWN! HANDS OFF OUR STUDENTS!
