In just two weeks, NATO representatives will meet in Dayton, Ohio for their Spring Parliamentary Assembly. For over 75 years, NATO has been a dealer of death and destruction in places like Afghanistan and Libya and has continued to threaten the entire world with devastating global conflict.

Meanwhile in New York City, the Rent Guidelines Board — of which all nine members are appointed by the mayor — voted for the fifth year in a row to raise rents on the one million rent-stabilized apartments across the city. This proposed rent hike will further squeeze working class New Yorkers already struggling with inflation and rising costs of living.
