WE FIGHT BACK!
This past week, under pressure from the Trump administration, Columbia University expelled, suspended, or revoked degrees of over a dozen students involved in the pro-Palestine student movement. This blatant act of political repression and violation of free speech rights follows the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, a leading student activist at Columbia.
At the same time, we have also been seeing an aggressive and destructive assault on the immigrant community. Since the start of his second term, Trump and his regime unleashed a barrage of executive orders and policies that followed through on all of his past racist rhetoric and promises of mass deportations.
Through these actions, the Trump administration seeks to instill fear and silence a growing wave of resistance. But history has shown that repression only fuels movements, and this will be no exception!
Join us in your borough for our weekly organizing meetings where we discuss the latest political developments, plan neighborhood outreach, and strategize how we can FIGHT BACK against Trump’s billionaire coup!
