FSJP Presents: Ceasefire Teach-in

This teach in will be facilitated by Faedah Totah, Hanaa Safwat and Noah Simblist.

We will have maps and will provide a summary and update on the ceasefire agreement - asking, what is the difference between a ceasefire and a pause? We will address the current and historic role of Egypt in relation to borders, negotiations, and Palestinian refugees. We will also address the current situation in the West Bank and the role of the Palestinian Authority. We will also address the border between Lebanon and Israel and the status of that ceasefire agreement. Finally we will provide some brief context and updates to the border between Syria and Israel and the impact of the recent collapse of the Assad regime. Finally, we will look at this complex situation and ask, how does this affect the future of the region?
