POPULAR UNIVERSITY: A COURSE FOR STUDENT ORGANIZERS

For the next five weeks, Palestinian Youth Movement-NYC will lead a Popular University course open to all student organizers: “The Palestinian Struggle for Liberation & Return”. This five-week course aims to develop student organizers and build revolutionary consciousness within the student movement. The Popular Cradle podcast will serve as a guide for these sessions.

These sessions will occur during the weekly NYC Shut It Down for Palestine volunteer meetings—each Monday, 6:30pm at The People’s Forum (320 W 37th St, NY). After a political grounding, the student sector will meet to discuss the assigned podcast episode and organize on a cross-campus level.

REGISTER NOW: POPULAR UNIVERSITY REGISTRATION FORM The full syllabus will be sent to registered students.

note: Waiting to hear back on whether this weekly course will also be available to join online. Check back here for updates.

The first session will take place on Monday February 3rd. Come prepared to discuss the episode “History Doesn’t Start With the Nakba” from @popularcradle.
