Call to Action: Black Out Day February 28 - Don’t Buy Anything!

Join us on Friday as we take part in an economic blackout! Do not shop, do not go online, don’t go to work/school/university (if possible)!

More information: This action is an ask for as many Americans to participate as possible in a 24 NO buying on-line, over the phone, in person. Not at any chain clothing stores, shoe stores, Amazon. No fast food restaurants inc Starbucks etc. and no Walmart or even smaller grocery store chains. Avoid shopping for one entire day. From 12 midnight Feb 28 (so many ppl shop in the middle of the night! Who knew!) until 11:59 pm--just before March 1.

The purpose of this blackout is to send a message to the billionaires, the Walmart family, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Evil Musk, Trump and the rest of the small billionaire crowd, that people have a voice and have power. A second goal is to shake them up, to rattle and remind them that we, the people, can effect change. Another goal is to challenge the very quick descent into authoritarianism.

The more Americans and even internationals, we get to participate in this, the more effective it will be.
