Displacement & Domicide in Palestine
Join HLS Justice for Palestine for an in-person event this Tuesday at 12:15 pm at Harvard Law School to hear from Balakrishnan Rajagopal, the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Adequate Housing, as he discusses domicide–systematic or widespread attacks on housing and civilian infrastructure that causes death and suffering–in Gaza.
In November of 2023, Dr. Rajagopal issued a UN report warning of the mass war crimes occurring in Gaza by Israel. Dr. Rajagopal founded the Program on Human Rights and Justice at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and is recognized as a founder of the Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL) Network of scholars. Lunch will be served.
