2/21 (Livestream) 8pm - The Invaders' Fear of Memories (Friends of Jenin Freedom Theatre US)

Feb. 21st at 8pm ET - Livestream

The Invaders’ Fear of Memories
Set against the backdrop of early 20th-century Palestine, The Invaders’ Fear of Memories, directed by Linda Wise, is a powerful solo performance by drama therapist-in-residence Benjamin Rivers, exploring the life and diaries of his great-grandfather, Yosef Nachmani. Through twelve distinct characters and songs in multiple languages, Rivers delves into the complexities of loyalty, ideology, and the devastating consequences of settler-colonialism.

Ben will be joined by Lebanese-American guest actress Noelle Ghoussaini and post-performance panelists: Riham Barghouti, Esther Farmer, and NYU Drama Therapy alumnus Navah Steiner.
