2/18 (in person, NYC) 7pm - Injustices in Healthcare: Envisioning Better Futures for Marginalized Peoples (Muslim Students Assn at Weill & Student Nat'l Medical Assn)

📢From New York to Palestine, healthcare injustice is a crime!

The Muslim Students Association at Weill and Student National Medical Association are excited to invite you to a three-part discussion series exploring critical issues of global healthcare marginalization and systemic inequities.

"Injustices in Healthcare: Envisioning Better Futures for Marginalized Peoples" will take place at the Student Hearth (1300 York Ave) on:
Tuesday, February 4th at 7 PM
Tuesday, February 18th at 7 PM
Tuesday, March 11th at 6 PM (in consideration of Ramadan)
TBD: Final Panel Discussion

Our conversations will challenge fundamental assumptions about healthcare, exploring provocative questions such as: Is health inherently political? Are healthcare professionals "neutral"? What is the role of a healthcare professional and scientist? Open to all members of our medical and scientific community. This series aims to foster constructive dialogue on marginalized healthcare experiences by critically examining healthcare's structural inequities from America to Palestine. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.
