The Museum of the Palestinian People is thrilled to invite you to a unique and enriching lecture series with Palestinian chef and activist Jinan Deena.

"Palestinian Food and Identity—How to Uplift and Preserve Our Culture " will explore how Palestinian cuisine serves as a powerful tool for cultural preservation. Through food, we tell our history, share our resilience, and fight against erasure.

Each evening, Jinan Deena will lead an engaging discussion on different aspects of Palestinian food, from its agricultural roots and resilience to the impact of cultural appropriation. Small bites and beverages are included with each session.

February 15 – Palestinian agricultural history & food sovereignty
February 16 – Food as resilience: Stories from Gaza’s chefs
February 23 – Cultural appropriation & conscious consumerism
