2/11 - BDS Movement Call for Cisco Day of Action Feb 11

The BDS movement calls on supporters to join the campaign to pressure Cisco to end its contracts with the Israeli military, police, prisons and apartheid government by participating in the Cisco Day of Action on February 11.

Cisco currently provides the technological infrastructure to automate apartheid in the occupied Palestinian territory (OPT) and beyond through targeted surveillance systems. Cisco’s technology enables Israel’s genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza through advanced military communication networks facilitated by Cisco’s Unified Communication systems. Cisco profits from its partnership with Israel’s occupation forces and willingly supplies its technology to strengthen Israel’s apartheid regime – sometimes on a pro-bono basis.

Cisco claims to have a “Conscious Culture” of  “dignity, respect, fairness, and equity” while enabling Israel’s war crimes against Palestinians. Cisco has a moral and legal obligation to end its complicity in Israel’s regime of apartheid, genocide and human rights violations.

Cisco’s next earnings call will be on February 12, and Cisco needs to hear from you!

Cisco is a priority tech target that is best impacted through ending institutional contracts with it. If your institution (city council, university, hospital, trade union, etc.) uses Webex, Meraki, Duo Mobile, Splunk, ThousandEyes, Jasper and Cisco hardware (including Cisco brand phones and security cameras), then it has contracts with Cisco that you can mobilize pressure to end.
