Reels of Resistance: Fundraiser and Short Films Screenings

Dear neighbors! Join us Thursday, October 16 for an evening of solidarity and film. We will be screening three short films honoring Palestinian resistance, including:

🎥 The Rejection Front by Jocelyne Saab
🎥 Like Twenty Impossibles by Annemarie Jacir
🎥 Scenes From Under Occupation In Gaza by Mustafa Abu Ali

All proceeds raised will be going to The Sameer Project (@thesameerproject), a mutual aid initiative led by Palestinians in the diaspora working to supply aid to displaced families in Gaza, and The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (@apnorg), a project reviving Gaza’s farmland and building food sovereignty.

Doors at 6p and screening will start at 7p at the Ridgewood Presbyterian Church, 5914 70th Ave, Ridgewood, NY
