Developing a New U.S. Policy in the Middle East with Josh Paul
Join Massachusetts Peace Action for an online event with Josh Paul, co-founder of A New Policy on Tuesday, October 14th to discuss U.S. policy in the Middle East.
Josh Paul is a former State Department official who resigned his position due to his opposition to U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, specifically to the U.S. providing lethal arms to Israel in violation of U.S. laws such as the Leahy Law. He founded a new organization called “A New Policy”, whose mission is to advocate for U.S. policy that will “Advance American national security & foreign policy interests, Reflect American political deals, including freedom, equality, and human rights, and Comply with American Laws governing the provision of security assistance and the transfer of arms equally to all countries in the Middle East, including Israel.”
Mr. Paul will talk about his work with A New Policy and share his analysis of the current debates in Congress and Washington, D.C. as to U.S. policy on Israel and the Middle East.
