Gaza: Beyond the Rubble – Two Years of Survival & Resilience
Join us for a powerful afternoon of solidarity, reflection, and action as we mark two years of survival and resilience in Gaza. This unique event brings together voices from the ground, frontline aid workers, psychologists, and advocates to share the realities of life under siege, and the hope that continues to shine through.
Programme highlights include:
Updates on emergency relief efforts in Gaza by Banna Al Khayri Relief & Development
Insights on the psychological impact of war on children and trauma healing pathways with Kites4Palestine
Testimonies on the healthcare crisis in Gaza & the West Bank, focusing on wound care, dialysis, and maternal health with Rivers of Mercy
Voices from Gaza through poems, stories, and artwork
Honouring Gaza’s martyred journalists and their fearless truth-telling
Panel Q&A & Open Floor Discussion with solidarity pledges
The day will conclude with a Fundraising Auction followed by a moving Kites of Palestine: Solidarity in Action remembrance activity at Ealing Common (weather permitting).
🌿 Taste Palestine, Support Gaza
Alongside the programme, enjoy independent fundraising stalls (not businesses), each raising funds for direct support to families in Gaza and the West Bank. Expect:
🍴 Authentic Palestinian food freshly prepared on the day
🛍️ Handmade Palestinian gifts & crafts
🍮 Freshly made, nut-free baklava donated by The Baklava Company, proud supporters of Banna Al Khayri
💯 100% of proceeds from tickets, food and drinks will be split between aid & relief efforts in Gaza via Banna Al Khayri and trauma therapy, creative healing and child centred aid for Palestinian Children through Kites4Palestine.
✨ Come stand with Gaza. Together, we can turn solidarity into action.
