October 12, 2-4 pm, EDGARTOWN, MA - Fifth Annual Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration
This event, held in collaboration with Mass Audubon's Felix Neck, brings much-needed historic, contemporary, and cultural awareness around the Wôpanâak peoples. Organized by Wôpanâak nonprofit Sassafras Earth Education in collaboration with local Wôpanâak speakers, drummers, musicians. Location: Felix Neck, Edgartown, MA 02539 Full event details here

October 12, 3-5 pm, FALMOUTH, MA Inspiration in Indigenous Stories, Song & Art
Join in a celebration of Indigenous culture through a conversation about working and growing up in Falmouth with Chief Earl H. Mills, Sr. and Roxanne Mills Brown of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, moderated by Sandra Faiman-Silva. This event will also feature songs by Indigenous musicians Kim Moberg and  Emma Brennan, stories about the Wampanoag Language Reclamation Project with Mae Alice Baird, and poetry and visual art by Ocean Eversley.

October 12, 10-4 pm, NORTH GRAFTON, MA - Hassanamisco Indian Fair - This annual event celebrates Native culture, strengthens community, honors traditions, and educates the public through dance, music, storytelling, and art, ensuring Nipmuc heritage thrives for future generations. Adults $5, youth and elders $2, children under 7 free. Location: Grafton High School Gym, 24 Providence Rd., Grafton, MA 01536 (Venue change due to inclement weather.) October 12, 12:30-4 pm, MEDFORD, MA - Indigenous Peoples Day at Tufts University - Celebrate Indigenous peoples and cultures across the world with the Indigenous Students’ Organization at Tufts. Highlights include student vendors, speakers, performers, and Indigenous foods. Open to all students and the public.
Location: Residential quad, 180 Packard Ave., Medford, MA 02155 - Sponsored by the Indigenous Students Organization at Tufts University.

October 12, 12-3:30 pm, WATERTOWN, MA - Watertown Celebrates Indigenous Peoples Day 2025
This event will feature Indigenous musicians, artists, foods, crafts, and vendors. Presenters include the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers and storyteller Teddy Hendricks (Mashpee Wampanoag, Nipmuc). Activities include wampum creation demonstrations, corn husk doll creations, and face painting. Location: Hosmer Elementary School, 1 Concord Rd., Watertown, MA 02472
