Join Maryland Peace Action at the General Assembly Opening Day Session

The Maryland General Assembly opens on January 8th at noon. This is traditionally an “open house” where grassroots activists and lobbyists can roam the halls and go into our elected officials' offices to promote our priorities. Maryland Peace Action will be there, too, advocating for ending Maryland's grant to the Maryland Israel Development Center (MIDC).  Read about it here:  https://www.dropthemidc.org/ 

They’ll start the day with a breakfast and teach-in at a nearby off-location and then at noon go to the Delegates offices. You can sign up here:  https://www.dropthemidc.org/lobby  

We may leaflet in the early evening at the Opening Day reception. If you can’t make it, please still consider signing up so that we can include you in other advocacy efforts (this can’t be a one and done effort). And if you are not familiar with this type of advocacy, don’t worry. We do things in teams and will provide all the training and support you might need.
