Speaking as co-editor with Prof. Charles Derber of the essay collection, How We Win (Routledge, 2024), this talk reviews why Trump won at the polls and outlines how left projects may build on one another in the coming period.

• Suren Moodlier brings a campaigning background in housing, labor and corporate accountability to his organizing work. This is also influenced by his deep appreciation for diverse communities and respect for their histories - this has driven his life-long organizing and publishing history. Suren is from South Africa where the struggle against apartheid provided his formative experiences. For his writings, please visit here.
