A message from Jessie Qumsiyeh for the Palestine Institute for Biodiversity & Sustainability (PIBS) & the Palestine Museum of Natural History (PMNH)
Dear Friends of PIBS/PMNH,
We wholeheartedly thank so many of you who attended our prior month virtual meetup on January 4, 2025. Here are the slides and recording. The first month of 2025 flew by quickly and the changes around the world happened even faster. We thus invite you to our next (#55) monthly virtual meetup covering our Institute’s work and a brief on Palestine (Gaza and the West Bank) on this Saturday, 1 February 2025.
If you are receiving this message for the first time, we are pleased to inform you that we have been holding monthly virtual meetups on the first Saturday of each month since July 2020 at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic to provide updates of the activities at the Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability and the challenges we faced. We have kept this monthly virtual forum since then.
The time and link for our next (#55) monthly virtual meetup are below:
Saturday, 1 February 2025 at 8 PM Palestine (EET) / 7 PM CET / 6 PM GMT / 1 PM EST / 10 AM PST. The total duration will be two hours. In the first hour, we will review PIBS activities for the month of January 2025. In the second hour, Mazin will speak about the situation on the ground.
