Professor Mohammad Marandi on Iran, Israel, and Gaza

Professor Mohammad Marandi will be joining the Community Church of Boston, to give a talk about Iran, Israel, and Gaza on January 31 at 11:00 am. Following his talk, there will be a Q&A session.

Dr. Seyed Mohammad Marandi is an Iranian-American academic and political analyst. He is the son of Alireza Marandi, a physician who has served in Iran's government as Minister of Health as well as a Member of Parliament. He returned to Iran after spending his first thirteen years in the U.S. and served in the Iran-Iraq war where he survived exposure to chemical weapons. Marandi is a Professor of English Literature and Orientalism at the University of Tehran.
