THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS (2022, Dir. Joshua Vis, Eric Schrotenboer, Marcella Vis) explains the mechanisms of control that Israel deploys to subjugate Palestinians. These mechanisms, some violent and some nonviolent, have been perfected through decades of civil and military rule of Palestinians both within Israel, and in East Jerusalem and the West Bank.

SPACES OF EXCEPTION (2018, Dir. Matt Peterson & Malek Rasamny) investigates and juxtaposes the struggles, communities, and spaces of the American Indian reservation and the Palestinian refugee camp. The film was shot from 2014 to 2017 in Arizona, New Mexico, New York, and South Dakota, as well as in Lebanon and the West Bank and is an attempt to understand the significance of the land—its memory and divisions—and the conditions for life, community, and sovereignty.
