Special Preview Screening of There Is Another Way

Peace Education opportunity! We are excited to invite our community to a special preview screening of “There Is Another Way” - a new documentary about Combatants For Peace @combatantsforpeace_english - a bi-national organization of former enemy combatants - Palestinians and Israelis - who now work together, using nonviolence to end the occupation and achieve peace, security and equality.

The film follows the organization as its members, confronted with the devastation in Gaza and the escalating violence of and since October 7th, face deep challenges and must choose, yet again, another way.

The screening will be followed by a conversation with director Stephen Apkon and Combatants for Peace movement leaders Mai Shahin and Iris Gur. IFP co-organizer and American Friends of Combatants for Peace chair Gili Getz will say opening words.
