This powerful and thought-provoking workshop invites educators and community members to explore the enduring story of Gaza through a lens of resistance, resilience, and human rights. Using historical and contemporary narratives, participants will gain a deeper understanding of Gaza's past and present, including the ongoing impacts of colonialism, displacement, and activism. This session seeks to humanize the region’s history while highlighting the role of education in fostering global awareness and empathy.

Through multimedia resources, interactive discussions, and reflective activities, attendees will learn strategies for incorporating complex global issues into classrooms and community discussions. We’ll also explore how Gaza’s story intersects with broader themes of intersectional oppression, resilience, and the fight for justice worldwide.
