Reflections from Victoria Brittain: Journalist and Author Drawing from her article, Miraculously, therapeutic care for Gaza's deeply traumatised people is happening, Victoria Brittain will reflect on the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the unthinkable conditions faced by its children and families, and the refusal of key global powers to intervene.
Summary of Report Findings: Lama Khouri will provide an overview of the findings from the Gaza Community Mental Health Programme’s latest report, “There, People Suffer And Die.” Including a video from the ground.
Conversation between: Dr. Yasser Abu Jamei, MD, MSc. Director General of Gaza Community Mental Health Programme (GCMHP), and Gwyn Daniel, MScFamily therapist, writer, and activist. This conversation will delve into the heroic work of Gaza’s mental health teams, the challenges they face, and strategies for addressing the widespread trauma and fostering community resilience.
