The Israeli government’s proposed ban on UNRWA—the irreplaceable lifeline for millions of Palestine refugees—is set to take effect before the end of January 2025.
This ban threatens to end over 75 years of critical services, including education, healthcare, food, shelter, and life-saving assistance in the Gaza Strip and West Bank (including East Jerusalem). If enforced, it would cut off essential aid and leave 650,000 students without access to education, jeopardizing an entire generation's future.
