From DC to Palestine: 101 Teach-In

From DC to Palestine: Learn about the powerful history of Palestinian resistance, its deep rooted culture and how it relates to challenges DC faces.

DC for Palestine’s Ward 7 Organizing Team, with presentations from the Palestinian Youth Movement’s DMV Chapter and Harriet’s Wildest Dreams, is holding a teach-in on the history and culture of the Palestinian people, their resistance against occupation and how this relates to the issues facing DC.

Join us as we explore the history of support for the Palestinian cause from previous civil rights and black liberation movements.

Representatives from the Palestinian Youth Movement and Harriet’s Wildest Dreams will speak on the history of settler-colonial violence in Palestine, the current genocide being enacted on its people and how these issues tie back to DC.

Whether you’re new to the issue or a seasoned veteran, this is a wonderful opportunity to explore the intersectionality within the struggle against colonial violence and connect with folks working towards liberation for all.
