Building a Culture of Peace: UN International Day of Peace

The UN International Day of Peace will be held in the sanctuary of The Cathedral Church of Saint Paul, 138 Tremont Street, Boston. This year’s theme is “Building a Culture of Peace”. The free program will feature peace education, music and more. Musical performers will include cellist Miranda Henne, Toussaint Liberator, and Lena Marcela Sarmiento Tellez, a Columbian singer and graduate of the Longy School of Music. Members of the FMC community are involved in the organizing of the event and will be part of the program. This year’s program is dedicated to the memory of Ian Harrington and his countless years dedication to the cause of peace.
After the program in the sanctuary at around 3:30pm, you are invited to walk to the nearby Garden of Peace for the closing.
