Winning Muslim Votes: New Research on Muslim Policy Priorities

by Institute for Social Policy & Understanding - Home - ISPU

How will Muslims vote in the general election this November? As key populations in swing states across the country and a crucial margin in the Democratic party’s electoral successes in 2020, understanding what’s motivating Muslim voters in 2024 is more important than ever. A new survey of Muslim voters in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Michigan sheds light on how this highly politically engaged and highly Independent group of voters will cast their votes in November, and quantifies the political impact of the war in Gaza.

Tune in to hear the results of this new research, and hear an expert panel discuss topics including the shift in candidate and policy preferences from 2020, the impact of the Uncommitted Campaign, organizing for Palestinian rights, and other pressing topics.

Winning Muslim Votes: A Policy Priority in Swing States was conducted by the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU) in partnership with Change Research, with generous support and partnership from the Emgage Foundation.
