10/6 (Online) 4-6:30pm - Comrades in Struggle: Overcoming race and class bias for the benefit of all with Sumaya Awad and Rabbi Alissa Wise (White Awake)

Please join us for a special White Awake teach-in on Sunday, October 6th, (4:00 PM EDT) to recommit ourselves to the struggle for Palestinian freedom following one year of genocide.

Together we will learn from Sumaya Awad, co-editor of Palestine: A Socialist Introduction, and Rabbi Alissa Wise, co-author of Solidarity is the Political Version of Love.

Sumaya will help us deepen our political analysis by discussing the strategic use of anti-Palestinian racism as a tool to manufacture our consent for a settler-colonial project in Palestine that harms us all. With Rabbi Alissa we will discuss antisemitism as a weapon of ruling class power, as well as key lessons in organizing gained from her many years as an anti-zionist Jewish movement leader.

This teach-in is part of our ongoing Comrades in Struggle online course, however we are opening this particular session up to anyone who would like to join. To sign up for the teach-in, we ask that you register for the course itself, knowing that you can contribute any sliding scale amount that feels good to you.
