Join us to mourn those martyred in the Palestinian liberation struggle, and strengthen our own resolve. We will not stop until Palestine is free. Meet at Station Park to pick up signs, flags, lanterns and candles and then walk as a group to our vigil site.
As we prepare to gather on Saturday, the Israeli Occupation Forces have launched the largest invasion of the West Bank in over 2 decades. After almost 12 months of increased genocidal assault on Gaza, the US and the Zionist entity are expanding their genocidal assault to the West Bank. The US is the most resourced empire that has ever existed, but still the US and the Zionist entity have been unable to extinguish the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, so they are now trying to escalate to the West Bank. The US and the Zionist entity will never succeed, but their violent gasps create yet more horrors for the Palestinian people.
In the West Bank, thousands of IOF soldiers stormed neighborhoods and refugee camps, blocking off water and electricity. The IOF also besieged at least 4 hospitals, detaining medical staff and blocking Palestinian access to healthcare. At the same time, the US and Israel continue their increased genocidal attacks, forced starvations and the use of polio as a biological weapon against Palestinians in Gaza.
Join us on Saturday to mourn our martyrs, fight for the living, and fortify our movement.
