CurbFest for Political Prisoners (@curbfest) is coming to Southeast D.C!
🗓Saturday August 17
⏰️1PM - 7PM EST
📍Black Workers and Wellness Center
2500 Martin Luther King Jr, Ave SE, Washington D.C. 20020
This Saturday, PYM DMV is joining Black Alliance for Peace DC, the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement - DMV, and Pan-African Community Action for a day of community building, a commemoration of #BlackAugust, and honoring the struggle to free our political prisoners.
What is CurbFest? CurbFest for Political Prisoners connects organizers with community members to share ways to get involved in the movement and raise not only awareness, but direct material support for political prisoners.
Come through, spend an hour or six with us! There will be free food, political education, music and performances, children’s activities, letter writing to our political prisoners, acupuncture, a community capoeira class, a book giveaway, and a screening of Dope is Death! Bring your comrades, friends, family, and loved ones!
What’s the call?! #FreeEmAll!
