Support the Ceasefire Resolution at the Nashua Alderman’s Meeting
Take action and make some noise!! This is a huge opportunity to expose white supremacy and war criminality within NH's Federal genocide delegation.
Nashua has 9 wards (neighborhood districts), and one alderman represents each ward. The six "at-large" aldermen represent the whole city, and together with the other 9 aldermen, they compose the "Board of Aldermen" (Nashua's version of city council). Each alderperson gets one vote (yay, nay, abstain).
Calls - Using the attached map (Instagram link below), please find and call the alderman who represents your district during business hours, Monday through Sunday. If you want to call the mayor/at large aldermen too, that's great bc they represent you as well, and they will be voting! However, in that case, it might be easier to send an email.
Emails - if you're able, please CC the Mayor and the at large aldermen!
Many aldermen have personally shared that they are "anti-genocide", but they may be reluctant to vote in favor of a resolution without hearing from constituents. Let's give them no excuses to vote any way but yay!!
