Tomorrow, August 13 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. join us at Temple Beth Zion in Brookline to observe Tisha B'Av alongside the T'ruah community. We will gather to share our grief and sorrow at all that has transpired in Israel and Palestine since October 7.
As a community, we will make space for our grief and pain, and reflect on traditional themes of exile and groundless hatred. We hope this space will be welcoming to all, especially those who have struggled feeling comfortable in Jewish communal spaces in recent times.
This will be a powerful event, and I'm looking forward to seeing you there.
With love and solidarity,
Rabbi Toba Spitzer (she/her) - MA T’ruah Steering Committee Co-Chair
