Introducing a 3-part decolonizing history series, join Veggie Mijxs and Unity Collective for a special Book Club Event where we are to educate ourselves about Palestine’s struggle by reading “The 100 Years War on Palestine” by Rashid Khalidi.

We will be holding space for discussion of the book, current events, as well as providing resources in solidarity with a free Palestine.

Our goal is to help each other read together in a time when social media is gluing our eyes to the screen to constant atrocities. By the end of the series, the participants will have provided mutual support to each other, to make reading a nonfiction historical text more accessible.

Each participant will also have contributed to the creation of a COVID-cautious, online-only, self-directed learning space.

Do try to read as much of the book as much as you can, but it’s okay to show up even if you haven’t finished reading the assigned portions.

*BIPOC refers to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. We choose this coalitional identity to end racism. For the purposes of this event, ending racism includes self-education in solidarity with Palestine.
