Join us for a panel discussion on the ecological consequences of the Israeli war and occupation. We debate the impacts on the Palestinian environment and the climate crisis in the Middle East. Together we gain a deeper understanding on how the Israeli onslaught on Gaza and military governance of Palestine impacts water, land and other resources of Palestinians. This in-person event promises to be eye-opening and thought-provoking.

Speakers: Dr Muna Dajani | Research Fellow in Environment at the Geography and Environment Department at LSE. Her work aims to understand environmental and water governance through decolonial and critical lenses. She has researched and published on topics ranging from water justice and environmental politics to infrastructural violence, green colonialism and transboundary water governance.
Mohamed Ghalaieny | Air quality scientist from Gaza.
Sarona Bedwan |Outreach & Programmes Manager at Makan. Makan is a Palestinian-led educational organisation that works to strengthen voices for Palestinian rights. They contribute to transforming the existing narrative on Palestine/Israel to one that upholds freedom, justice and dignity for all.
