Proposed Agenda:

1. Brief congressional legislative update

2. Protest/Disinvite/Boycott/Arrest Bibi Netanyahu, scheduled to address a joint session of Congress on Capitol Hill on July 24, draft ideas include the following:

National Campaign and Day of Local Actions to Protest Benjamin Netanyahu's Address to a Joint Session of Congress July 24

A. Congressional demands - tell your Members of Congress to disinvite Bibi (as some prominent Israelis advocated today in the New York Times, boycott the speech, arrest Bibi (extremely unlikely of course but Rep. Mark Pocan has said he wants to do it ;-) and support the Pressley bill (assuming it has been introduced) on cutting off offensive weapons to Israel and UNRWA Restoration Act (assuming it has been introduced by then). These demands can be promoted ahead of time, and delivered in person to your House members and Senate offices locally on or before that day if you choose, alerting the local media to your efforts of course. 

B. Local media/social media - letters to the editor, op-eds, coordinated social media posts with anti-Bibi, pro ceasefire messages, etc

C. Local actions where they make sense. These might be protests at appropriate locations like Israeli consulates, or the offices of MOCs who are pro-Netanyahu or anti-ceasefire, or war profiteer/financier facilities. Or, more positive events showing your community's support for peace, perhaps interfaith gatherings? These local events will help amplify what will surely be a wild rumpus in Washington.
