Join LGBTQIA+ Somerville residents Tuesday, June 4 at 5pm (at Somerville City Hall) to let the mayor know there is no pride in genocide! We will be attending Somerville’s yearly Pride flag raising to demonstrate and let the mayor know that Palestinian liberation is tied to queer liberation. There will also be Somerville youth speaking at this event, and we plan on giving them our full support!

After the flag raising, we will be gathering on the steps of city hall to regroup and chant together.

For this event, we will be focusing on visibility and reminding the mayor of our demands for her to call for a permanent ceasefire, make a public statement condemning violence against Palestinians, Muslims, and Arabs in Somerville and beyond, and to boycott companies arming Israeli occupation and apartheid.
