Cross and Crescent: How Can Evangelicals and Muslims Connect During this Crisis in the Middle East?

Given a lack of understanding and historical tensions, American Evangelicals largely overlook opportunities to build relationships with Muslims. The conflation of Muslims and the Middle East in the American imagination further complicates relations during times of crisis in the Middle East.

This webinar features a discussion between an American Evangelical, a Palestinian Evangelical, and a Lebanese-American Muslim, reflecting together on the challenges and opportunities for interreligious cooperation in pursuit of understanding and peace.

Panelists: Safi Kaskas, translator, The Qur'an: A Contemporary Understanding and author of The Qur'an with References to the Bible / Botrus Mansour, Palestinian Christian Lawyer, writer and church leader from Nazareth / Rev. Dr. Mae Elise Cannon, Executive Director, Churches for Middle East Peace

Moderator: Dr. Ben Norquist, Director of Network of Evangelicals for the Middle East (NEME)
