(de)Colonial Infrastructures in Palestine
In this event, we discuss the different settler colonial infrastructures that have enabled the Israeli Settler colonisation of Palestine.
By BK Scholars for Palestine - BK Scholars for Palestine 2024 — Dutch Scholars for Palestine
In this event, we will host a number of Palestinian scholars to discuss the different settler colonial infrastructures that have enabled the Zionist state of Israel to establish its project in Palestine, occupying the land, the sea and the sky. Join us on Tue Jun 25 2024 as we step closer to the ground, to shed the light on the material everyday reality of the Zionist colonization, by sharing different ways through which restrictions on water, agriculture, architecture and food have furthered the colonial control on Palestine and its people, and enabled the continuity of the settler colonial project in Palestine.
In doing so, the speakers will also share examples of local decolonial practices that have countered those apparatuses of control and domination and worked on reclaiming parts of the Palestinian landscapes to its indigenous Palestinian people.
SPEAKERS: To be announced soon.
