Next Thursday at @gathereast! Join us to watch Cinema Al Fouad, a short, profound documentary by Mohamed Soueid. The documentary gives a glimpse into the life of a Syrian trans woman living in Beirut, and her experiences as a cabaret dancer and a resistance fighter in south Lebanon.
After the movie, join a discussion about pinkwashing, trans and queer liberation and the fight for a free Palestine. Discussion will be led by Palestinian human rights lawyer and organizer Laith Aqel.
