This event examines whether states can be held accountable under international law in relation to the current conflict. It poses sererious questions such as: What are the legal and diplomatic ramifications for committing genocide or war crimes? Can domestic courts hold governments to account on potential breaches of international law, such as the UK’s arms sales to Israel? This is part of our Palestine series that we have been running at SOAS and UK Parliament.
