June 17, 7:30 am RAW GAZA Bike Ride Kickoff
Show your opposition to continued killings of Palestinians, by sharing a bagel breakfast for Bob Sanders, before he undertakes a 700-mile Ride Against War in Gaza (RAW GAZA) Northern New England Tri-State Tour, on Monday, June 17, 7:30 to 8:30 am at the State House Plaza corner of Park Street and Main Streets. (Peace Action office at 4 Park Street in case of rain.)
Bob is the founder of Not In My Name (NIMN) NH, a group of NH Jews calling for a cease firing in Gaza. He will be riding a gravel bike, passing through the state capitals and the largest cities of NH, VT and ME in a little more than two weeks. Opponents against the war will be hosting him on various cities along his route.
RAW GAZA supports:
An immediate and sustainable ceasefire and release of all hostages.
Suspend all unrestricted military aid for Israel.
Increased humanitarian aid through UNRWA, the United Nation agency that has been distributing such aid for years.
Support the international investigation of war crimes against Israel and Hamas.
Oppose all discrimination against Jews and Muslims but stop using false charges of antisemitism to quell criticism against Israel.
The ride is so far supported by Not In My Name, NH, Jewish Voices for Peace VT/NH.
NH Peace Action is a cosponsor of this ride. If you are so inclined to help with Bob's expenses, you can donate HERE and please put RAWGAZA in the notes field.
