Student activism has a longstanding history of pushing for justice and bringing awareness to causes for civil and human rights. Join the Class of 2019 for a panel on past and present student movements at Amherst College, where we will discuss divestment from South Africa in the late 1980s, Amherst Uprising in 2015, and the current movement for divestment from weapons manufacturers during the ongoing genocide in Palestine.
