May 7-10 from 6-8 PM each evening: Veterans For Peace Peace Walk- Potlucks and Conversations with Walkers
Veterans For Peace has launched a walk down the East Coast to Washington, DC calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, and an end to war more broadly. They will visit communities and churches along their route to share their message, having been part of war, why they still believe peace is possible. Veterans For Peace is a global organization of military veterans and allies whose collective efforts are to build a culture of peace by using their experiences and lifting their voices. Recent campaigns include calling on the State Department Inspector-General to investigate illegal shipments and numerous violations of Federal law regarding Israel's attacks on Gaza and the PeaceWalk from Maine to DC.
