NEW YORK: Join us this Friday, May 31 at 3PM at Tweed Courthouse (52 Chambers Street) where students across the five boroughs will converge after walking out of their classrooms to protest the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

From their school administrators, they demand an end to the repression against students and teachers for pro-Palestinian speech and a rejection of definitions that conflate anti-Zionism with antisemitism. From their local officials, they demand a city council resolution in support of a permanent ceasefire; faculty pension plans without investments in the Israeli war machine; the categorical rejection of Zionist curricula in schools; and the banning of NYPD from schools.

From the federal government, they demand an end to the siege on Gaza and an end to military support for Israel. The high schoolers have spoken: they want a free Palestine from the river to the sea.

University students and NYC community members: Join high schoolers tomorrow and show up at the Tweed Courthouse at 3pm to amplify the call for Palestinian liberation. Students in Gaza are calling on us as students in the imperial core to escalate our action against empire and disrupt business as usual wherever we may be. By walking out of school/work, we withhold our labor from the entities intent on suppressing our movement. The students, united! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
