Solidarity Encampment Support Workshop Series - Workshop #2: Responding with RAHMA

HEART in partnership with Maruna Healing is offering a workshop series to support Palestinian solidarity campus encampments with psychological first aid, creating compassion containers for disclosures of harm, and building cultures of accountability.

Workshop #2 offers a guide on how to hold space for disclosures of harm and violence through a lens of compassion, or Rahma. HEART has used this framework and model to respond to instances of sexual violence, reproductive trauma, and we are now offering this tool to support those on the frontlines of our campus movements who are experiencing high levels of zionist aggression, institutional harm, and police violence. Additionally, harm in movement spaces can be difficult to navigate, and this framework will offer a guide on how to create a container for disclosures that centers compassion and care for the survivors of harm.
