Community Gathering Honoring Palestinian Mothers. Eat! Pray! Protest!

37 Palestinian mothers are martyred by genocidal assault every day in the Gaza Strip since October 7. This Mother’s Day we honor the Palestinian mothers - despite their suffering, Palestinian mothers and women-led resistance is a vital part of the Palestinian struggle. Courageous Palestinian mothers despite all odds, holding the murdered children in hand, Palestinian mothers have resisted with sumud (steadfastness) while fighting for Thawabit (their “inviolable rights”).

From massacres, expulsion, dispossession, and genocidal wars, to the surveillance and control tactics of occupation, Palestinian mothers have shown Sumud that declares to the occupier: You may break our bones, but you cannot break our spirit! Join us for a community gathering to honor the mothers-martyrs, to pray, rally and to share food together, with the resolve and commitment for a Free Palestine.
