Support Councilor Anderson's ceasefire resolution

This iteration of the resolution (full text here) condemns Israel’s genocide and siege in Gaza and the ongoing occupation and apartheid. In addition to calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, the resolution also calls for the return of all Israeli hostages and Palestinians detained in Israeli prisons; immediate humanitarian aid; enforcement of laws requiring recipients of US military assistance comply with international humanitarian law; and the beginning of a process of rebuilding, repair and reconciliation. The resolution also makes local connections, calling on the City of Boston to investigate and clarify ties to organizations and entities complicit in the Israeli assault on Gaza, such as companies that have supported Israel’s actions and police training with the Israeli military.
